In a three-part format, acclaimed composer Rob Kapilow explores The Songs of Jerome Kern with tenor, Todd Strange and soprano, Amanda Squitieri from L.A. Opera. A lively Q&A concludes the evening. Todd Strange, tenor and Jamie Chamberlain, soprano will be performing a half hour set of Opera's favorite arias, and duets, as well as some favorites from the American Musical Theater

A short Spanish recital featuring music from Daniel Catan's upcoming opera at LAO, "Florencia en al Amazonas", as well as other favorites from Latin composers. This is one of many acts to celebrate the Latin Art festival.
